The Basics

Research posters concisely summarize research in an eye-catching manner, and many academic conferences include a poster session.  Posters are:

  • summaries of your research - tell them the question you tried to answer, and quickly show your results
  • a mixture of text, graphics, charts and tables that are clearly organized
  • eye-catching and readable from 4-10 ft away
  • 300-800 words, no jargon
