Finding Research Funding and Grants: Grants Workshops

Resources for finding funding opportunities to support research, grants-related projects, and nonprofit programs and services.

Grants 101: Seeking, Analyzing, and Writing Basics
Fogler Library and the Office of Research Development sponsor workshops throughout the academic year.

At the Grants 101 workshop, participants will:

  • search for grants in PIVOT
  • analyze an agency's Request for Proposals
  • learn grant writing basics

The Finding Funding Challenge takes participants' grantseeking skills to the next level.  Each day, for five days, participants will receive an email with tasks designed to build their grantseeking skills, including how to effectively and efficiently find funding opportunities tailored to their creative and scholarly interests, strategically read a request for proposals, and make their grant proposal a standout (with templates, expert guidance across disciplines, and more!).
