Moving Records from RefWorks into Zotero, Mendeley, EndNote

First

  • Log into RefWorks.
  • Go to References > Export > choose RefWorks Tagged Format > Export References.
  • Click on the link to the document created in Refworks (it will be a listing all the records you have for items in Refworks).
  • Highlight the document to copy the information.

Then, for

Zotero

  • Open Zotero. Go to File > Import from Clipboard
  • All your records from RefWorks will appear in Zotero. The migration moves the records for the items only. You will need to recreate any Folders - called Collections in Zotero - then drag and drop each item into the appropriate Collection file.

Mendeley

  • Open Mendeley

EndNote Basic

  • Open EndNote Basic
