CINAHL with Full Text Database Guide

Combining Search Terms

To find results about 2 or more concepts (nursing students AND socialization), click Search History (located under the CINAHL search boxes) and click Clear. Your options:

  • Paste complete headings into empty search boxes, then click Search or press the Enter key
  • Click checkboxes for terms in your search history, then click Search with AND.

Combine similar terms (like nursing education, nursing students) with OR by clicking Search History, clicking Clear, then using the pulldown menu or checkboxes.
