A portion of our collection is in open stacks located at the rear of the Information Commons, to the right of the Collaborative Media Lab. Items located in this section can be accessed any time the building is open.
The bulk of our modern collection is located in closed stacks within the library. Items located in this section can be requested at the reference desk in the Information Commons, a staff member will retrieve it for you right away.
The bulk of our historical collection is located in our library annex in another part of campus. Items located in this section can still be requested at the reference desk, but retrieving it will take a little more time. A staff member will retrieve the item as quickly as possible, and you will be notified when it is available to be picked up at the reference desk.
Items from any location can be requested in URSUS. A staff member will retrieve your item, and you will be notified when it is available to be picked up at the reserve desk in the Reserve Reading Room.
