Citation Drop-ins

Citations giving you a headache? Drop into Fogler Library to get help with MLA, APA, Chicago, or any other citation style. Join us in Library Classroom 2 on the days and times below.

Guided Tours

AI in the Classroom, Evaluate & Cite: Leave What's Wrong, Keep What's Right!

Topics covered include evaluating various AI tools for text creation and image creation, with emphasis on their use and best practices. Additionally, we will devote time to providing attendees with tools on evaluating AI-generated output, including difficulties presented by AI in terms of citation, copyright, plagiarism, and the generation of incorrect or hallucinated information. Literature Reviews: Search Strategically

This workshop will cover advanced techniques to maximize database searching, including using controlled vocabulary, searching for foundational authors, and  setting alerts to keep up-to-date with new sources related to your research topic.

Literature Reviews: Citation Tracking

If you know how to find citations for articles, but don't know how to figure out if the library has access to those articles, this workshop is for you.  Learn how to locate articles in library databases based on the citations you've found, and how to find even more articles using one article as a starting place.
