Business: Country Analysis

This guide introduces international business research strategy and covers carefully-selected resources on international businesses with the purpose of avoiding information overload.

Advanced Google Searching

Every website has a domain that categorizes it into one of several categories. Examples of domains are .EDU, .ORG and .GOV.

You can limit your web search to one domain by a simple method. If, for example,  you want to limit your search to educational institutions, include this in the search box:

Site:.edu

Proper punctuation is essential here! The word Site, then a colon, then dot, then the domain.

The screen shot below shows a search for the word "Belize" limited to the EDU domain. All sites found will be from educational institutions.

Click this link to recreate this search on Google.

And this method works on other search engines like Bing. Click here to do that Belize search on Bing.
