Sisterhood of Native American Coders (SONAC) is helping to create access and equity for the next generation of Native women in tech. The organization’s mission is to inspire young female innovators to develop and pursue interests in STEM studies and careers and promote native cultures in the industry.

Natives in Tech is a nonprofit organization focused on providing spaces for American Indian tech professionals to network. Natives in Tech hosts an annual conference and crafts free, open-source technology that empowers Native peoples and their business and economic development. At the organization’s annual conference, American Indians in tech share their current projects, especially those providing support and solutions for Native people.

The First Nations Technology Council is an Indigenous-led, innovative non-profit that serves all First Nations across BC. We are mandated by First Nations Leadership to provide digital skills training to Indigenous learners, realize digital equity, and ensure individuals, communities, and Nations play an active role in leading and shaping the technology sector.

We are a not for profit organization and our mission is to address the underrepresentation of Indigenous peoples in the technology and innovation sectors in Canada.

Indigenous Science, Technology, and Society (Indigenous STS) is an international research and teaching hub, housed at the University of Alberta, for the bourgeoning sub-field of Indigenous STS.
