Level 2 focuses on receiving an intermediate level of training in Information Literacy.
In order to complete Level 2, you will view the resources listed in Brightspace, complete the quiz and reflection, and work with a librarian at your campus. The resources cover the following:
Working with your librarian can mean one of the following: 1) meeting one or more times with your reference librarian for an in-depth research consultation, 2) taking an information literacy course taught by a UMS Librarian, or 3) attending an information literacy session as part of a workshop or class in a program. Make sure you tell the librarian that you're working on this badge.
To find the librarian for your subject area, check Fogler's list of subject specialists.
Once you have satisfied the requirements for Level 2, contact the librarian listed on the home page of this guide. They will verify that you've completed the work for this level and will open Level 3.
